Could King Magnifico escape from his imprisonment?

At the end of the film, King Magnifico was trapped in his staff and sentenced to the dungeon.

However, that doesn’t mean it’s the last of King Magnifico. Just as Star managed to escape the magic staff, it’s possible for Magnifico to do the same in the future. Granted, the staff is now broken, but it could be that Magnifico will harness some untapped power that remains inside the staff to escape and plot his revenge against Asha. Magnifico would have to face the wrath of Asha, who now has a magic wand, and the people of Rosas, but he could still try if there was any chance of reclaiming his power.

Love the idea of a universe out there where The Powers That Be were like, who needs love, let's get you some soup

That's a good idea for an omake or short story. Lonely people who all of sudden come across a soup kitchen or stand. There's nobody around minus the person who works there. The visitors all say they saw someone different, the appearance and age of the shopkeep changing between all of their experiences. But the unifying factor is the feelings of love and home when the shopkeep spoke to them and took care of them within their little shop. The guests never saw a menu or even a promotion of a special when they are seated, just the shopkeep giving them their favorite drink [without them telling the shopkeep] and quickly going to work on a special soup dish. Without fail, the food they deliver were just what they needed in that. The dish always changed but everytime it brought tears to their eyes. Like all of the burdens were lifted from them and replaced with just pure contentness. That they were finally whole for the first time. Nobody can remember what happens after they finished their meal or can never find the shop again, however they felt like they can take on life and love. They didn't feel so lonely or unloved anymore because of that experience. If even a random employee can be so caring towards them then they can find someone just like that again. They just to find them or at least try.

Hm, I have the urge to redo Branagh’s Death on the Nile as a comic with some changes. Include some characters from the book, rework some characterization and make it more of a direct follow up from Murder on the Orient Express. Of course, I’ll have to figure how to shove our beloved Bouc in. Though I mostly worry if I’m even legally allowed to do a comic based on a movie that’s based on the book that’s also a sequel to a movie based on another book. Y’know, copyrights and stuff

Musical prodigy Steve, who is way too casual about this gift. He plays seven instruments and could read sheet music before he could spell his own name, and literally never mentions it.

He has perfect pitch and can perfectly replicate a song he’s heard once on the radio. If you gave him an instrument he’s never played before and an hour, he’d made something beautiful out of it. And no one knows.

Well, some people know.

His mom still signs him up for recitals and performances out of state, but Steve never talks about it. He just says he has something to do with him mom that weekend, and then goes to preform in a concert hall in front of hundreds of people.

Honestly, Steve kinda assumed everybody was like that.

His parents never made it seem like it was a big deal. Hell, he doesn’t even consider that he could go to college for music (not that his dad would ever allow it). It’s basically a hobby.

It’s only after concussion number two when he’s sitting in English class listening to Eddie Munson complaining for a week straight about how he has an ‘epic vision’ for a ‘new song’ but it’ll never come to fruition because he’d need a full string orchestra.

And then another week listening to him hum the melody of the song.

And then a couple more days with the studio equipment that his parents got him for Christmas that Steve starts to think that maybe this ability isn’t all that common.

Eddie - still complaining - just stares at him with shock and confusion when Steve sits a cassette down in front of him and tells him to, “Stop talking.”

Honestly, that should be it, right? Steve has spent more effort making mix tapes than that cassette and those were barely a blip in the week so…

So, why is Eddie Munson confronting him at his locker the next morning? Eddie’s hands are all over the place like, “Did you really find and pay an entire orchestra to play my music just so I’d be quiet?”

“No,” Steve says slowly because that’s insane. “I played your music so you’d be quiet… it clearly didn’t work.”

“You can play…”

“Yeah?”

Eddie just stares at him like he’s something worth staring at and then asks seriously, “Do you want to be in my band?”
